New Work! Recipes, Doulas, and Baby Proofing Your Body

I have a few new pieces of work out in the world so I thought I’d share a little update (see, I do “work” in my life as a work at home mom—I’m not just snapping cute photos of Linden all day!).

Good & Fresh, the winter issue, will soon be available on a newsstand near you (if it’s not already) and it’s chock full of delicious and healthy comfort food to get you through the cold months ahead. I loved working on this issue because it’s totally the kind of food I love to eat—fresh ingredients, meals based on whole foods, and recipes that are easy to put together. Some highlights are chapters on winter salads, whole grain breakfasts, quick and simple dinners that you can have on the table in 30 minutes or less and a most delicious recipe for Greek frozen yogurt (among other healthful desserts). Check it out!

And if you’re pregnant (or just curious about the topic), here’s a story I recently wrote for Parents about How to Choose a Birth Doula. For my mom friends, this is another story on how to Babyproof Your Body to prevent injuries and keep yourself strong through daily life with your little one.

Happy reading!
